Bansh-eman Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 i just rebuilt my whole banshee and i didnt take the time to make a note of how all the collant hoses ... or the vents rather where setup... the small hose that come out of the top of the cover from the impeller... it has a "T" splitter on it... im not sure where thats routes to or what goes on the two ends? also the two hoses from the coolant overflow i know one goes to the radiator but not sure which one, if some one coudld use a digital camera and take a shot of those two that would be great... thanks Quote
bansheefreak Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 well the t splitter is a vent for the crankcase so it should hook to a hose the ends back by your swinger... the other hose goes to your coolant bottle...i am guessing this from what you have said if you wanna take pics of what you have me and /or others will be sur to tell you where it goes... Bansh-eman Posted July 16, 2006 Author Report Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) ok well i figured out one of the hoses... the part that comesout of the side of the case... one of them goes to the top part of the overflow but i still havent found where the second part goes.. i looked at a stoke banshee today but i couldnt see very well but they have it routed under the tank like its going towards the front of the bike? ill try to remember my camera tomorrow when i got to work on my bike.. i forgot all about it today. DRI4life Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 the other hose that goes to the front is just a breather. if you have the other connected to the radiator then your ok.. i cut that breather hose short and run it out the back of the motor so coolant doesnt drop on the pipes.. like where the carb vents are routed. Bansh-eman Posted July 17, 2006 Author Report Posted July 17, 2006 ok well i got my camera today so i tok a few picts. i know that the top hose goes to one part of the t splitter in the next pict... and the bottom hose to the radiator on the 3rd pict... just want to make sure that the second part of the " t " isnt posed to connect to anything? seem kinda odd to have an open hose like that...
