Newbie here, own an 01 banshee, only had it about a month. Was riding the other day and it just started to bog and spit out the left exhaust. It will start and as long as it's reved it sounds fine but once you drop to about 1/2 the rpm range it spits out of the left exhaust and it will not idle, just bogs and dies. When attempting to start it it spits about every 6 or 7 kicks. I replaced the plugs, checked for air leaks and pulled out the reeds and they look just fine, no cracks. Now i don't know crap about carbs. Could it be a carb issue? Any ideas on what else to check? I've done searches and have checked the normal things, but just don't know where to go from here. It has a cool head, white brothers boost bottle (i think that's what it is, the aluminum tube on top if the intake above and in front of the carbs)..... K&N's right off the carbs and Pro circuit platinum series pipes. I do not know if the reeds are stock or not. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

mine did the same exact thing except right side. on mine it was the reeds.

did you see any physical damage to them? I couldn't see anything wrong with mine that i know of.

maybe i will switch the reeds from left to right and see if it does it on the right side, then i will know they are bad.
