barely legal racing Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 i have a few mods done to my bike, right now its vforce3, powerblades, k&n with the lid on, head milled .30, bikes bored .40 w/ wsm's, pro curcuits, and current jetting is at 240 running perfect brown. The rings are bad in the bike, so im getting new rings and i have twin k&n's to replace the stock box and was wondering what size jetts to order....320 340 300 ...what about will it take Quote

barely legal racing Posted July 15, 2006 Author Report Posted July 15, 2006 no idea, i thought it would run lean when i did all the stuff to my bike (pipes and whatnot) and bought 260's and it ran a tad rich so stepped down to 240 and it run perfect.... Quote

RILS Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 if i were you i wouldent run the 2 filters id stick wit you air bow its good 2 have when u goin in water and iv had 2 motors explode wit the fuckin filters just my 2 cents :ninja: Glenn I would have to disagree with this.Unless your sinking it up or crossing some deep water I woyld highly recommed the pods.Not only do they flow quite a bit better but they make about anything you do to the bike way easier.I cant say were you will be on your jetting without knowing your elevation, but if you were at 240 without the pods and not running lean then I would say start with a 280 or better yet start with a 300 and go from there try about a 27.5 pilot and see how it does compared to the stk pilot put your clip on the 4th slot on the needle and 1.5 turns out on the airscrew.This should get you started without blowing anything up and when you start doing all this jetting you will see one of the big advatages of the pods instatly.
