Quinton Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 I just got a 2005 stock banshee and ive heard alot about the rockets. i was just wondering if they were as nice as everyone has been telling me? Quote
dajogejr Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 I think you'd be wasting your money on a stock setup. I was able to demo a set, the old co-owner of the company lives within about 20 minutes of me, and I didn't like them as much as my T5s. However.... Add some porting and carbs to that motor, I'm sure they'd really shine. I also didn't care for the fit of them, rather the beer kegs between the legs when riding. I'm 6', and they bothered the shit out of me with my knees hitting them. When I'm ready to swap out from my T5's, I'm gonna go with Shearers... Quote

They look like they would really be cumbersome doing plug tests. Quote
dajogejr Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 As long as you have 1/2 an hour to let 'em cool down, you're set... :ermm: Quote
bansheerage Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 i have a set from the new owner and there great. he even did the silencers a little different from the other clowns who owned it. yeah there a lil big but i deal with it. all in all there good but like dajogejr said it wouldnt be such a great idea on a stock set up. they are fine with the plug changes and chops. Quinton Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 Which type of pipes would you suggest for the best low end power for the stock banshee Quote
ellison445 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 PT mids or FMF fatties! I run rockets on my bike, when I was running the stock setup they pulled harder then my t-5s and a set of CPI. T-5 just had a little more lowend! Which type of pipes would you suggest for the best low end power for the stock banshee Quote
