duner Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 has anyone had the duncan racing mx porting done to their shee or know anyone that has had it done? if so how much power increase did you notice? I bought a used set a few years back, excellent workmanship. I went from stock to these. Was like a whole new bike. When I went to bore them,I noticed a crack across the intake bridge. I have sinced replaced them. I'm not sure if this is comman or not,but I do know they ran really good even on the top end. Quote
decon Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 Their are alot of better builders out there than Duncan...but be my guest if you want to go spend $550 on a port job from duncan :shoothead: Quote
decon Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 what is the avarge price of a port job All depends on the shop and the type of porting...for more mild/play ports around 200-250...mx/dune ports 300-375...that's just a guess of mine Quote
shanYE west Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 (edited) I had the duncan Hi-rev porting and I liked it alot. They do good work but they are pricey compared to other builders. But I like my passion porting better There are a few builders on here that do very good work for less. Try a search and see what you come up. Edited July 7, 2006 by fouledout2 Quote
