cdwood37 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 If you want a stroker you have to put a stroker crank in it, and that would entail splitting the cases, basically a whole dissasembly. You might as well get it ported to compliment your stroker crank. what else do you need to know? Quote
blueshee03 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 where the hell do i start from.i just had my stock head milled to .030 and got the weisco .020. do i have to cut some more off the heads or something? yeh you will need a stroker crank and either a stroker plate for under your cylinders or have your head cut for the stroker.having head cutis better then using plate but the best route is to get a head with changable domes and have domes cut to accomadate the stroker.you will need to split the cases to install the crank.talk to passionre on here or give him a call .he can fix you up with the crank ,head ,domes and what ever else you need.he also does fantastic porting.his number is : 918-232-3950 .jim is a wonderful guy to talk to and deal with.if you get his answering service leave a message .
