To start....I've read alot of the jetting threads out there (and there are quite a few:) and have a general idea...just looking for a little reassurance. Don't have a banshee but a close relative.

I've got a relatively stock RZ with Toomey pipes and a project RZ that is starting to come together. The motor is getting close and it's time to start thinking about jetting. The stock cylinders have been resleeved and bored to 69mm, 4mm crank 5mm rods, the powervalves have been modded but are wired open, 35mm keihin's, port and head work but nothing radical.

The carbs have 45 and 135's as they sit and I'm looking for jetting info. I came across a few threads about the cub motors and he need for smaller mains but the consensus seems to be 150 and 45's?

Coming from mikunis the ranges don't sink in with me. If yolu were to buy a few to test...what range would be feasible for a motor like this?

Thanks for any suggestions!

i would start with 55 pilots and 155 mains, depends on what needle those carbs have. also what elevation, porting, etc

agreed, 155-165 depending on elevation.
