01bansheefox Posted June 16, 2006 Author Report Posted June 16, 2006 Where can I buy new pullies for this thing? I tried looking online but found nothing. Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I have always heard that if you swap the front and rear pullies around that it gives you more top speed... Pullies are like sprockets on a bike... Quote

01bansheefox Posted June 17, 2006 Author Report Posted June 17, 2006 Yeah I understand the pully thing but I dont see much of a size difference comparing the front to the rear, and i tried looking but cant find where to buy new ones. Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 My dad and my brother and his kids are into Lawn Tractor Pulls... They don't go for the speed, but more toward raw power and torque.... Although speed is still good. Some of the mods I have seen them do... Aluminuim fly wheels, if ya know a machinist remove your flywheel and get an aluminum one made.(quicker revs) Remove the muffler and run open piped exhaust, chrome motocycle tips look sweet. They add water in the rear tires for traction, you wouldn't need that... The big boys run bike motors, 4 cylinders and v8's..... I remember growing up that we had an old mower, the carb must have been bad, cuz for some reason dad had put a motocycle carb on the 5hp briggs.. TWISTER and all..... You can always just shoot the juice to it.... Quote
