yzf1000R1 Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Just seeing if anyone is interested in these things. This is a 1985 Yamaha Tri-Moto 125. It was my fathers and he used to ride it alot when I was younger. One day he pulled it in the garage, shut it off, and it never ran again. It lost compression. After Doing a couple banshee rebuilds I pulled it out of the garge blew the dust off of it and tore the engine apart. The rings shrunk and stuck to the piston. After some fresh rings, a hone job, and a carb cleaning, I put it back together and it runs mint. I have no use for it and rather drive my banshee which is much faster and has 4 wheels. Make me an offer. I dont have pictures, I will try to get some this week-end, but here is a picture of what it looked like new. It is in good shape, very good for an '85, even the seat is good.
