t5banshee Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 hey, im a newbie, been checkin out the site for awhile, lots of useful info, but i couldnt find an answer to my question my bike is cutting out on the left cylinder when it gets above about 2500 rpms, just loses fire, i have not changed the jetting any, once it started doing it, i changed plugs, also cleaned the carbs, i have around 135 psi in each cylinder, what could it be, bad coil?? it idles perfect, just dont fire once the rpms go up, thanks for the help guys Quote

msprouse Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 I had the same exact problem last week I wish I would have done one thing at a time so I knew for sure what fixed it. here is a list of what i did I diconeccted all the tors electirical and cleaned the connections I took the carbs all the way appart and cleaned them and rejetted up a size I also took the head off and noticed that I had a broken o ring put it all back together cleaned it and now it runs like a dream. good luck Quote
