K5Banshee Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Hey guys, Here is my current setup: TR-6's 30mm OKO's K&N clamp ons V-force 2's 21cc domes sea-level +4 timing I bought it from the previous owner with this setup (added the noss head myself). Unfortunately it looks like the boost bottle caused the intake to crack and the right cylinder to run lean and blow. So I am currently replacing the crank and pistons (to a 5mm longrod stock stroke setup). I need some advice on which pilots and mains I should buy so that I have enough to get the jetting correct. Any ideas on a good range to purchase? Quote
dajogejr Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 1. Ditch the boost bottle 2. Adding a NOSS head shouldn't change your jetting, maybe a jet size...maybe. 3. What the heck is an OKO?? Never heard of 'em. 4. How did it run before? If it ran good before, do the plug chop found in the sticky of this thread. No one hear can tell you the precise jetting of your quad. They can only get you close. However...I've never heard of OKO's...so, I'm missing something. Adjust your jetting according to the plug chop... Quote
K5Banshee Posted May 9, 2006 Author Report Posted May 9, 2006 I understand that no one can get it exactly. I am just wondering what jet ranges I should buy to have a good choice to jet with.... DOn't worry....the boost bottle is now long gone.... OKO is a keihin style carb. Quote
