i have just rebuilt my engine, it now runs 25 thou over with a mild port and 32 thou off the stock head, pro design water pump , and three tt600 springs and three standard springs in the clutch.

when i set it all up every thing was adjusted and torqued to spec but first ride out the clutch had massive slip at the crank case ??? what could cause this to come out of adjustment as when i stripped it the adjuster on the clutch centre was still tight and didnt look to have moved????????

I assume the clutches are in decent shape. did you try adjusting the cable or is it stretched? if that is all good you could try to adjust the adjuster screw inside the case cover even though it appears not to have moved you never know, this is a pretty simple task although it sucks taking the cover off and draining all the fluids
