Here's what I used to wire mine, about all that's missing from this chopped-down diagram is the in-line fuses...also I wired both a tether and pushbutton kill switch from black to black/white for the engine stop switch, and instead of a key switch I used a master on/off rocker switch where it says "main switch" (between red and brown-if you don't connect those two it'll run but the PV's won't work):

Here's an original wiring diagram I color coded the essential stuff for:

Good luck, if ya run into any snags let us know...

If it fires up you're halfway there; next just make sure the PV's operate. You should be able to see the PV motor flick when you hit high RPM's (it'll rotate and pull the PV cables). If it does that you're good, the PV wiring itself is pretty straighforward, there's the 5 wires that go from the controller to the motor, then there's ground, signal from CDI (either black/yellow or red/white depending on the year) and brown from the volt reg/master "on" switch (again you have to connect red to brown for the PV's to work in the absence of a key switch).

Other than that make sure there's NO slack in the PV cables; line up the notch on the plastic cable thing with the hole behind it (LH cylinder), and adjust the cables so there is no free play at all...

i was on another site and i was told that i can just run straight wires and bi pass the Voltage reg, and all that good stuff..... the bike runs.... and i'm not right sure i even have a PV Motor..... i might tho i got a bucket of spare parts....i think i got myself into a mess by the sounds of it
