Water pump

is it hard to replace the plastic water pump with an aluminum one? what do i need 2 do?

#1 Drain Coolent

#2 Drain Trans Oil

#3 Remove Clutch Cover

#4 On the back remove the curclip off of the white plastic gear.

#5 Remove the watercover impeller cover and puill it out

 

Please replace the Gasket that is behind the cover with a new gasket and also put a new gasket on the clutch cover please.

 

Also replace the o-ring that you will see on the small Joint 1 ( dumb name ) you will see it you cannot miss it. Replace it for good measure because it gets its ass kicked when you pull the cover off-on. I think it will run you 1.24 for the oring. The Gasket for the waterpump cover is 9 dollars and the clutch cover gasket is 19.
