MILO Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 i finally got my cylinders back from the shop yesterday and all of the rest of my parts arrived today, so i'm ready to start putting her back together. my cylinders seem to be kind of greasy/grimy from the honing. what should i use to clean them up before putting them back together? any other advice for putting the new top end back together would be greatly appreciated. here's what i'm doing: stock bore - honed, wiseco pro lites, noss head w/20cc domes, also adding v3's. sheefreak Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 What NYUK said. Also make sure you get a light coat of mix oil on cylinders immediately! They will rust VERY fast! Quote
MILO Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Posted April 29, 2006 soap, water and a rag? 509314[/snapback] well, that's what i was hoping for, very simple, but wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. i figured if i took the air hose to it afterwards and wiped it dry too it should be ok. thanks nyuk Quote
