Hi guys, please offer me some advice here. I fitted 450 shocks yesterday, they have been re valved to be softer and all the settings are at their softest. I have not ridden since the change, but when you sit on the shee, it does not move slightly up front! If you bush on the bars in front it does go down though. Surely it should not be this stiff!! Anyone out there have some advice please? :(

have you ridden it?

you have extended arms? this will make a difference in spring deliver no? they would be more at an angle instead of more upright..

I still have the stock arms on, so they will be more upright. I have not ridden her yet! Just concerned about how hard the shocks feel when sitting on her now. Was hoping that someone that has done the same mod can give me some insight!

Sounds like there binding up....

Side Note: I run the front shocks so stiff on my bike the barely move when my 200lb ass sits on it... I run a soft rear though.. helps you seat hop the smaller jumps when your tired...

Thanks man! I think I found the fault. I did not grind any material off the bottom mount, so I think the shocks are not compressing!
