mybanshees2fast4u Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 I am getting closer to having my bike running and I have found a new probelm. It has had a new adjustable stator, cdi box, and coil all installed recently and it cuts spark out intermittingly. It will backfire outta of that cylinder if it starts and it will take several quick kicks to get it fired. I have set the stator gap at .020 and the timing at +4. Please any ideas greatly appreciated. Quote
Wallrat Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 1st place i'd look is the spark plug caps. I have those symptoms now and that's what it turned out to be. Actually could see burnt marks from arcing on the tops of one of my plugs. Quote
