yamahakid1 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 well i threw a rod bearing in my engine and the thing is totally apart right now. everything is being worked on so i have time to mess with my carbs. first off i was running 280's because i forgot to rejet when i went down to sea level from the mountains. i have a mild port and polish k and n clamp ons and pro circuit pipes, and i am getting a shaved head. .025 over and when the motor blew the right side had piston damage, but the left side looked normal why is that? also i am gonig to run 310's with needle on the 4th clip down and stock pilots, i am using stock pilots because they work just fine. also can u blow ur top end if your needle is too lean or if your pilot is too lean or isd it usually because the mai9n is too lean? anyone have suggestions on jetting sizes?
