05Special Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 anyone have it? what does it take to install? good power increase? reliability? all the info you can give is good. thanks guys Quote
banshee350twin Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Well i hear trinitys 2 into 1 carbs work good but i dont think people use them for highly modded banshees. SINGLE Quote
Wallrat Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 I'm running a graydon style intake on my stroker. Its actually one I made myself. The longer chamber of the graydon style should give more top end then the trinity. Personally I've never tried the trinity. Anyway the intake is good. I'm running a single 35 w/ it on a fairly built engine. If you do a search for single carbs you'll see MANY posts saying how much I and several others like singles. Quote
WALLACE84 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 (edited) I have one. And I did a reasearch on it because I was thinking about putting my duals back on but wallrat knocked some sense into me! Graydon's setup is better then Trinitys(my friend has a trinity setup)and is better then dual carbs if your motor isnt modded to hell. Maintence is pretty easy and the setup is very reliable EDIT>bigger duals carbs are better if your motor is worked pretty good Edited March 6, 2006 by WALLACE84 Quote

Wallrat Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Nope, no pics. I just kinda eyeballed everything. Used some reed spacers as a template. Cut the manifold pieces out of 1/4" aluminum, then used some 1 1/2" aluminum tube for the Y. I made the cuts at a 45* angle, lined those up on the manifold pieces w/ them bolted to the cyls, then tacked those on. Next I welded em off the bike and used a cutoff wheel to cut the hole where the tube leading to the carb would go. There's terms for all the different parts but I'm too lazy to look em up. Then welded up the short piece for the carb and attached the carb w/ a small piece of silicone hose. Quote
