Not only are they heat treated, but they're also cryo-tempered. Best of all, they're made in the U.S.A. and come with a lifetime warranty as I recall. However, I already have a set of Zwilling J.A. Henckel cutlery... Fine German steel. (and costs twice as much too) If I had to do it again though, it would be Cutco all the way. BG Quote
