trail rider Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I dunno, I've got a piped 99 CR 125 and my banshee (pipes, cone filters, reeds, 20cc domes, +4 timing) will just barely outrun the CR to 60mph...after that the CR is out of gear so the Banshee runs away...this is on pavement btw. 483078[/snapback] Im almost the same, except my cr 125 is a 00 model with fatty pipe and my banshee with just bill's pipes, razar tires,. me and my brother raced a 300 ft drag on dirt, him on the banshee and me on the bike, and if i got a good start I could lead him till the last 50 or so feet where I would top out and he'd blow by me. A 125 tops out way to fast to win against a banshee, enless your racing maybe 200 foot and your a really good rider. Quote

No doubt that the Banshee's are rockets, and I know they top out faster than my bike but I am pulling on these shee's from like 3rd gear and so on. Ya top speed they win but how long is a grass drag 300ft? Quote
WALLACE84 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Well I dunno whats going on in your case but my 96 Honda Cr125 has:fmf pipe,boyesen reeds,milled head,ported and polished,renthal sprockets,and cases matched and it wont touch my buddies pipped shee but my shee sure will (no shit) haha Also my dads cr250 will smoke the shit out of a piped shee Quote
