Question about shock length.

I was wondering if anybody knows how 13 1/2" shocks eye to eye, would fit on +2 arms? would they be to short? Thanks.

I don't think they would necessarily be too short. But what are they valved for? You're going to get a shitty ride, no matter how short or long they are, if they aren't valved correctly.

I believe they are valved for a 200 lb rider with stock arms, they are works triple rate with rezzies. I weigh 200 lbs. how much does works charge for revalving?

I'm not sure what Works charges for revalving. I would recommend you have them valved soon if you want a descent ride. I would call around for prices, but just remember that Works isn't the only place that can valve them.

If they are set up for stock length a-arms and you put them on +2 a-arms they will be too soft. You increase the leverage with the longer arms so you will need to get them revalved for the extended arms. They may also need to be resprung. Best to check with Works or some other shock rebuilder like Shane. The length of the shock should stay the same though.

I just bought a pair of dual rate elka's for 450 from ebay. I think I would rather go with elka than works anyway.
