2strokesmoke Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 (edited) i got these pipes from ebay for 160.00 shipped. the guy said they are cpi(non stamped),but im not sure my first set of out frames. my problem is i put them on and holy shit !they are too loud . they have stingers that come off and held on with springs. is there a muffler or a silencer or something that will fit? cause we have a trail not too far from peoples homes i want to be neighbor friendly. so if anyone can help please do ,but the pipes do rip thanks Edited February 28, 2006 by 2strokesmoke Quote
sredish Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 (edited) holy shit !they are too loud well, no shit. look at the friggin stinger on that thing. there are some out-frame pipes that have stingers, but not sure you can buy them seperately. get ahold of NYUK and show him what you have, he'd be the source for that type of stuff.... yea, i bet they're loud as all hell, but sound good... oh, and you got these for trail riding??? what kind of porting? Big Blue Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Part of having drag pipes is making noise, did you keep your other pipes? If so why dont you just switch back and forth. I dont think they are CPI's either. Quote

2strokesmoke Posted March 1, 2006 Author Report Posted March 1, 2006 i thin k they are power pros 480243[/snapback] do you know if that company still makes pipes? thanks Quote
korndawg Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 If you really want to run the out of the frame pipes and noise level is that big of a concern, you should probably sell the ones you got. If you only paid 160 for them, you should be able to turn a pretty decent profit. Once you get the cash, CPI and a few other companies sell out of the frame pipes that have silencers. Quote
2strokesmoke Posted March 1, 2006 Author Report Posted March 1, 2006 im shopping right now for a back up set. ill keepim loud . i just found a website for power pro but i dont know if they are still in bussiness cause they make a inframe as well but if not i will get some in frame cpi soon thanks for the input guys Quote
