Big Blue Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 You will need domes cut for the motor the regular domes you have listed will not work properly with the 68mm bore. I suggest you contact a builder and get them from them, or dlnoss can get you exacty what you need. Quote

Ducman Posted February 22, 2006 Author Report Posted February 22, 2006 Maybe I should just ask; What size domes do you run on your cub motor and what is the octane required? Ask a builder you say? OK, calling all builders, I'm asking. Quote
wesw Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 Ducman, its not just your cc's and timing you have to worry about, the squish clearance and squish band width must be matched to your cylinders at rated peak HP rpm in order for your squish velocity to fall into the right range. Re-cut off the shelf domes wont cut it...especially on hi-output designs on pump gas...Jim heres some advice. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=56778 Quote

Give Dan Wade a call or email him he is a great guy to deal with. Patriotracing.net [email protected] 253.826.4881 Quote
