dragginduner350 Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 on my 02 shee I have 35mm Airstryker pwk's, but the problem is that my cable is soo tight that my thumb cramps up in a matter of minutes. Is it wise to cut a part of my carb springs too keep this from happening? I dont want to convert to twist throttle (suicide throttle). I have a terrycable on it now with steel braided cover but it reaaly sucks. I have replaced my cable numerous times but hasn't eliminated the problem. PLEASE HELP, I'M LEAVING FOR GLAMIS ON 2/24/05? Wallrat Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 Terry cables are notoriously stiff. Have you tried a motion pro? Most new cables benefit from a good lubing when you first get em. Also check the routing of your cable. Sharp bends increase friction, while larger sweeping curves don't generate as much. Quote
Tim C Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 Buy a cable luber (about $8) and keep the cable lubed - it will help some Quote
