I just got my set of Kehin PWK 28 mm's in....I'm about to bolt them in, but the fuel drain hose on the left carb runs right into the clutch actuator on top of the case. I notice that there is also a "side dump" drain but it is plugged. Can I plug the lower drain and drill out the side drain and attach the drain hose there? Or, is there any danger in just leaving the drain hose unattached from the bottom of the carb?

What's the best way to get these things in there properly?

Thanks!

I did exactly what your mentioning to my 28mm pwk's. Drill the side discharge out & put a screw in the bottom with teflon tape around the threads for sealing purposes. I did this a couple of years ago & have had no problems whatsoever.
