What to use?

I just had my steering stem powder coated, and the coaters forgot to remove the plastic plug in the top of the stem (so it melted inside).

 

Any ideas what to use to plug that hole so that it doesn't fill with sand, dirt, etc.?

just order a new piece from a yamaha dealer. Or i guess if u have the equipment u could make a plug out of metal.
