painting ims tank

I got an ims 5.6 gal tank and im thinking about painting some graphics on it, because all my stickers peeled off and now my bike looks ugmo with blue plastic and a yellow tank

i wanna make the colors flow better

but apparently the gas breaths through the plastic of the tank?

so if i paint some stuff on this will it bubble and flake off and look even shittier?

suggestions on a paint too if it will work

they make paint thats made to paint on plastic but it probably still wont work very long because of gas fumes
