carb jus pouring out gas

i jus took my car apart an i cleaned it out an put it back on an wen i put the gas on all it did was pour gas out the hoses wat would make it do that

Float height is set too high. Search the forums on how to adjust I don't got time to explain, hope it helps.

turn off gas let all gas drain out of bowls...turn it back on and tap bottom of carb with something...later

your needle in the bowl of your carb is stuck, i had the same problem when i got my carbs off ebay i just put a new needle in it & that fixed the problem

I don't wanna hijack this guys thread, but ive replaced the needle already and it didnt fix anything.

Your float could be bent from when you took your carb off and fooled with it. Check to see if both plastic floats are even on each side. If they aren't just bend them back to even gently. Just a little bit of bend in that flimsy metal connecting the floats will cause the point to sit funny over the drain allowing the gas to leak.
