yzf1000R1 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Hey guys, just bought my first Shee. I always heard these things were fast.... It might be scarier then my R1.... I have the Toomey T5's with the 2 into 1 uni-air filter setup. I ran through my fiirst puddle the other day and I ended taking the carbs apart once again.. My question is how good are those outer wears?? I dont go through rivers, but I dont want to have to crawl through puddles or standing water. Also what else would be water proof and comparable so I wouldnt have to change my jetting? Quote
beerchotic Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 I would switch to a k&n set up and keep them well oiled with an outerwear on at all times and you should have no problems the foam have a tendency to hold moisture and get sucked into the carbs (been there done that) Quote
