I recently started looking for true clear hoses that will take the max temp of a radiator fluid. well i found a company that makes a clear reinforced hose that max temp is 350 F. I tried to find a way to buy just a few feet of the hose for the shee. But no where could i find it. So i wrote the company and asked if i could get ahold of some scrap or a small portion of hose. They wrote me back asking what i needed and whee to ship it. I told them just the other day. And today i get home with a box on the steps. there it is clear hose for free, shippedd to me the next day. How is that for a company to give some stuff away. Granted i only got 5 feet of hose, but still it is nice of the. The company was New Age Industries. Ok i'm done now. Quote

On a rem piece, chances are they wouldn't have ever sold it anyway, and this way they can write it off for the value rather than warehouse it. New Age Industires.... It says "your sample hose is inside". So i either guess they give samples out, or that is just how they labeled it for this time. who knows? I'm just glad i got a free hose for the shee... Quote

Stinger Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 Typically, companies that only sell items in bulk will offer samples to interested people. They can't expect you to buy a large amount of something without every putting your hands on it or trying it. I've got free high temp plugs for powdercoating, free powder for PC'ing, etc... The fact that they sent it next day is nice though...that's for sure. I just found some clear high temp hose that is cheap as hell online...I thought about ordering some for my radiator but decided I didn't want green hoses on my blue bike...I did get some overflow lines though (fuel proof).
