antmortem Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 I have some reed cages on my banshee that came with it when I bought it. I'm not sure what brand they are they have 3 bolts holding the reeds on and all of the replacement reeds I look at have 2. It is an 88, but I thought they all have the same reed design these just look similar to stock. Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Just a guesstimate, but I'd say you have stock cages, with Boyesen Dual Stage Reeds on them. Quote
antmortem Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 If they were stock cages wouldn't they still only have 2 bolts per reed holding them on? My reed cage has 3 holes in it for 3 bolts, I thought the stock cages only had 2. Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 It's been forever, since I looked at stock cages, so you could be rignt. A pic would be helpful. The stock cages are gold in color. Quote
antmortem Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 This is the only pic I have of them not great, but you can see the bolt and reed. Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 I think that they are either modified stock cages, or FMF Ram Valves. The Ram Valves are a little bit bigger than the stock cages. Quote
clxbanshee Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 Those definately look like FMF ram valves. Quote
