ok guy's i really need some help this is my first banshee it is a 2004 and it has ran great until the other day first let me tell you the mods mainly stock it has a k&n filter fmf pipes and silencers carbon fibre reeds and has been rejetted . now for the problem i was riding with some friends the other day we were riding some trails and when i slowed to make a corner it lost all its power and started bogging if i gave it any gas. it never died and idles perfectly but will not pull its self kind of like the parking brake is set but its not after a couple of minutes it took off and ran fine for about 5 minutes andthen it started bogging again it still idles perfectly but it won't pull itsself i pulled and cleaned the carbs checked the reeds tried new fuel ohmed the parking brake switch to make sure it wasn't activated put new plugs in it and still no luck any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

 

oh by the way i lost the key a few day's ago and just wired the ignition switch wires together to get me by till get get a new one not sure if that makes any difference or not but it ran fine for 3 days that way thanks again

well just unplugging the wires to your key switch will disable it. and it sounds to me like your park break sensor (POS) is stuck. go to the back of you quad and look to the left of your brake disc. make shure the park break wire isnt jammed, making your park break enabled (the sensor thing).

Unplug the tors wires, the little box next to the ignition coil, adn the parking brake switch ONE BY ONE. Check all of your wires because they could have been burned by your new pipes. If all of this dont fix anything, your computer or your stator is gonna be the problem. Good luck, keep us posted.
