vitovito240 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 whats up every one, i have a pair of rocket pipes that im going to install on my banshee. My buddy told me to cut off the tabs on the lower rail of the frame. the tab has a piece of circular rubber in the middle of it were a spring attaches from the tab to the original pipe on the banshee. there are two tabs one on each side of the frame near the front tires. is this true, do i need to cut those tabs off to fit the rocket pipes in? will i ever need these tabs in the futre? will i be damagaing my bike by removeing them? need help thanks Quote
rocketboy Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 yeah go ahead and cut them youll need to . my rockets didnt fit so hot ,but the springs are the bitch ,i have broke them trying to get them on ,hopefully fireman changed the design cause its not right from the pipe loop to the cylinder loop its 2+" too long a distance. a tight fit is one thing, repeatedly snapping 6$ springs(and fingers) is another Quote

peterlocal22 Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 if you do take the tabs off just becarefull you dont cut inot the frame and prime and paint it right after so the metal doesnt rust. Quote
