I have a buddy of a buddy selling OEM upper chrome A-arms and recently powdercoated lower A-arms with a couple of steelbraided lines for the front brakes, how much is this worth, I have no clue..He gave me a price of $250..Is it a good price?

Also is it possible to run Elka front suspension on stock A arms?

TIA...

You can run aftermarket shocks with stock arms. Lots of people do.

He might get $250 for them. As long as he doesn't mind sitting on them for a while. I, personally, sell stuff to move. I sold a set of stock arms, great shape, for $60 shipped.

I've never tried it personally, but I've heard a lot of people saying you can't powdercoat the stock a-arms without f'in up the ball joints. Supposedly, when the powder is heated, it melts the rubber the ball joints and they eventually fall apart...just somethin' to check out.

you can run elkas on stock a-arms, just make sure you get elkas valved for stock Length A-arms, they will require different valving than extended A-arms.

If you choose to get different arms later you will need to have the shocks revalved for a couple hundered $$
