decon Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 anyone ever thought of just running tire chains? i've seen some for like 30 bucks on rocky mountain atv. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 (edited) pics?? do they go in thru the inside of the tire?? 443915[/snapback] There's these STUDS Or these ICE SCREWS these are in various lengths if you scroll in the part number. Also dEcon I've seen a guy run chans on a 2wd scrambler and they worked very well, I sure wouldn't trust them all you need is something to come loose and it'll cut your shee right into pieces. I don't think I'd like those fukkers comin apart on me at 70+ mph! Quote
420 RACING Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I run woodys 1.2 steel traction eliminators 72 per tire. Nothing special other that use that smallest drill you can which is a 7mm track drill. Find a good pattern that will balance at speed. I put a layer of carpet between the studs and the tube, and have not had a problem. Magic racing will have tubes for any size tire in stock. Quote

I will be doing some snow riding myself, might try the sheet metal screws Quote
