wayfst Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 (edited) That's it, my best friend has lost his mind. Here is what we have- K&T 420 long rod. This motor would cost anyone over three grand to build out of their cylinders and cases. He wants 2800 bucks for everything here, including the stator cover not pictured. The motor is a 66mm piston with a 7mm stroker, 5mm long rod crank, the transmission has the shift star mod for easier shifting under power. At the time of building the K&T custom head and lock-out clutch was installed. Two weeks ago this motor won the Twin Falls county annual grass drags ( it's very, very fast. if you can't ride worth a crap- let this one go--all it will get you is a lot of hospital food!) but I don't think you get the trophy. The motor comes with two sets of domes (motor tests 155 lbs. psi at 4000 ft.) and a billet timing plate (not that cheap cast timing plate that ricky stator sends). I looked through the intake and the exhaust ports, the pistons look emaculate, almost can't tell that they have been run. I fully expect my buddy to wake up and realize what he asked me to do and to tell me to pull this down as quickly as possible. If somebody tells me they want it and sends me the money, I will make sure this motor is on its way to you. Edited November 27, 2005 by wayfst Quote
