Ok well im ordering pipes now. I did alot of looking and im gona end up going with pro circuits. What size jets do you think i should order with it? im at sea level.

is it really necassary to change the pilot jet?

 

i have a stock pilot 340mains, one needle clip, no air box and T5's...idles and runs perfect..

 

I had the shop tell me its fine with 25 pilot..what gives?

I wouldnt go 220 :whoa: , Your in ny.. IM running 290 right now in NY with t-5s, you might want to start with a 280 and the stock pilot.. PM me if you need any help :cheers:

 

Asuming everything else is stock try 220 and 27.5 on the pilot

280 mains,air screws 1.5 turns, needle in stock position,27.5 pilots for 70-80 degree weather with lid on at sea level worked for me. It's getting colder and I found Pro-Circuits are sensitive to dipping temps.They will rev high with little go when temps drop in 10 degree increments.keep en eye on the thermometer and beef your mains accordingly.

hey i had a stock banshee till a week ago i got a k&n and pro circuit pipes the mechanic re jetted at 260 mains u think this could make me run a little too lean. we tried 280s seemed to bog at the top end.
