peterlocal22 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 hey everyone I just bought a 1998 banshee. The prev. owner didnt have a skid plate on the bottem of frame and there were some scrape marks on the frame from rocks or whatever. Over the years the scrapes which went down to bare metal have turned to rust. This is killing me I like every thing perfect. I hate rust. Any advice on removeing it and fixing the problem so it doesnt come back? Any advice would be great, thanks Quote

99Banshee Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Well if you like things perfect then strip the thing down this winter and repaint the whole frame.. Then you do not haft to worry about any other scrapes on it..Plus its easy to do.... Quote
Justintoxicated Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 honestly you won't be able to see the differenc ein the color of the paint on the bottem of the frame, after a light coat of dust it won't even be visable. Quote
