2strokesmoke Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 a 2 in to 1 pipe gives great low end or change your gearing helps the gnarly has good low end as well i rode a quad with on the other day with gnarlys on it but not as much as a 2 in to 1 oh welcome to BHQ Quote
RNBRAD Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 FMF Gnarly's, head mod with increased compression, increase timing, 2 into 1 carb systems. Quote
65 mini Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 ok so the 2 in to one exaust who make and sells that i live in canada? Head mod cool head or umm not sure? and with regaurds to the carb 1 carb in to the 2 cycnders right? what size carb for doing that and what is a good make ? Banshee17Racing Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 I would personally look into the FMF Gnarly's like mentioned above. They're not a 2 into 1 pipe, and they won't have quite the same bottom end as one, but you'll get more mid-top out of the Gnarly's. I've heard a lot of people say the 2 into 1 pipes die off really quick. As for the head...if you're on a tight budget, just mill the stock head .30. Or you can buy an aftermarket cool head, I'd prefer Noss Machine(he's a site sponser). With the cool head you can change out the domes to get higher and lower compression(higher compression for bottom end). For the 2 into 1 carb. Look into the Trinity Stage IV intake w/a 35 mm carb (as a kit). There are other makes out there, but they don't seem to be as popular. I'm not too sure if Graydon is still making 2 into 1 intakes or not? Quote

decon Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 paul turner pipes /vforce3/mill your stock head .035/ runa k&n filter w/no lid or snorkel 439166[/snapback] i agree..but mill the head .25 ..run a pro flow foam/k&n . pt mids provide the best low-mid for dual pipes with still good top end.. run a 2 in 1 if you ride tight trails, other than that you wont like it Quote

Ive rode a banshee with 20cc domes, +3 timing, vforce3, and fmf gnarlys and it comes on damn fast. Alot faster than mine with 21cc domes and fmf sst pipes(mid-top). Have you rode both dEcon? Go with the gnarlys, you wont be diapointed. Plus they look 10 times better. Quote
decon Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 good for you. the mids are proven. I bet if you ran mids with the same setup they would have more low-mid. im not saying the gnarly's arent good but theirs better. Quote

You bet, but you havent even rode a bike with them on to compare. I have rode the gnarlys and they totaly kick ass with bottem end. Quote
