Bansh88 Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 I just replaced a clutch lever. The god damn cable just refused to come out of the lever. I had to madhandle the thing out with a screwdriver. the little housing thing that goes over the end piece of the cable came off. Looks like it is meant to protect the nugget that swivles in the lever. Is this bad? The clutch seems to operate fine. It fits ever so slightly looser now. I can see a bit more friction going on. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't want to replace the whole clutch cable. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Replace the cable you cheap ass, they're like $12, sheesh after all the coin you dropped on that thing. Your cable won't live too long with out it I suspect, don't put off the inevitable. Quote
Bansh88 Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 hahahahhaa. Honestly, that never crossed my mind. Maybe I will. I have a hook up at a shop now! BTW, it's on the older Banshee. BTW, keep your silver bike. You'll regret selling it. Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Agreed, replace the cable. About 15 bux or so and half hour of your time. Yup, keep that shee Dune, nicest one in here IMHO. Quote
