Weirdman Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 I have a kx 250. I was riding one day and i ran out of gas and i can't get it started now. I talked to my uncle the other day and he said if i run it out of gas then the oil will get burnt up and then the rings probably seized to the piston letting the gas mixture come through the sides of the piston, after i told him that the spark plug gets wet after kicking it acouple times.. so i think im going to get a compression test soon and see.. could there be any other problems.. i checked the spark. its good carb seems to be flooding but i dont really think that would be a problem its still going to feed gas to the engine.. i havn't messed with anything after it died except cleaning the carb..
