While i was tinkerin on the ole banshee today, i was adjustin the tie-rods a little bit, and was standin behind the wheeler looking it the front wheels were pretty well even. Anyways what i noticed is that the rear right and front right tires (while standing behind it) seem to line up on the same track. but the left side, the front wheel sticks out about a half inch more than the rear. I didnt take the time to really check into it, like measuring the axle or anything, just wondering what you guys knew.

Yes it is.

A buddy of mine bought one new back in 99 and we compared his to mine. Mine wasn't as misaligned as his was, but his front left wheel stuck out nearly 4 inches further than the rear, but the right side was perfectly aligned.

Its just Genuine Yamaha Tuning. :shrugani:

They do some stuff right, but I'm not a fan of the asymmetrical frame thing.
