I have a set of cut T-3 pipes for sale. They are ceramic coated black. I just got them and they are too high strung for me. Incredible top end but hang on when they hit!! They aren't the best looking pipe around but they held there own this weekend.

For the youngsters.......cut T-3's are the Toomey T-3 pipe that has been modified to give it more top end. This was the thing to do before CPI's came along. Cheap way to get into a top end pipe.

$150 OBO

I hope I'm not wasting your time, but I'm just curious what they look like. What do you mean by cut?I'm not wanting to buy them, just curious.

Here are some pictures.

I'm not positive but I believe they take the end off(by the stinger) and replace it with a different shaped piece which gives it more top end. I couldn't tell you much about how or why but cutting them used to be pretty popular before the CPI/GRR pipes came out. I've always heard that this is the poor man's top end pipe.

Those don't look cut to me, you cut out of the expansion chamber, not the stinger

Here is a pic of an uncut t3....looks the same to me, and considering there's no weld on the expansion chamber...yeah those are not cut...sorry

I was told they are cut. I don't have a picture but they have a new weld down the side of the chamber. I don't know if material was added or taken out but they are definitely not "untouched".

Check out the curve right where it goes to meet the stinger. That pic you have looks a lot longer.

They run great. Just not enough bottom end for me. I'm too used to my Fatty's. Putting around with the kids isn't much fun with a top end pipe. These have a lot more top end than my Fatty's so I guess it depends on where you want the power. I looked at them again last night and the expansion chamber has been cut on both ends. Looks like it was cut out so I don't know if it was shortened or what. What is the diameter of the pipe you have? I'm wondering if the expansion chamber isn't the T3 at all. It may just have the header and stinger sections with a custom chamber.

Well Damn!! Now I'm really curious what these have had done to them. Anybody have a T3 they can measure the chamber on?

The more I look at them the more I think the whole chamber has been replaced then they shortened the neck to the stingers so it would fit the new chamber. These don't hit as hard as the Shearers I have but when they hit they really go. Doesn't do me much good though for putting around with the kids. I've tried a bunch of pipes and just can seem to beat the Fatty's for how I ride. Just wish they had a little more top end for when I'm riding without the little guys.
