Jetting start

with t5's and porting from eric gorr what would be a good baseline jet should I run the toomey needles or get something else. I will be riding all year round in ont canada don't know exact elevation but can check meter at work.

Let us know the elevation and riding temp. Also, what have you done with the airfilter setup (lid off, snorkel off, K&N filter?).

air filter box is stock I just plan on putting a couple vents in it and it has a k&n filter.

I would just take the lid off instead of putting vent holes in it. Type in ( "your towns name here" elevation) into a google search and tell us that number. And the temp. your going to be riding in, so we can get you close on jetting.

I did not order the pipe kit I will run just the yamaha needles. we are 778ft above sea level and weather now is 10 to 20 celcius.

With these mods: t5's, eric gorr porting, and k&n filter with the airbox lid off riding at 778ft above sea level with 50 degree weather I would start out with a 350 main jets, and 27.5 pilots.

 

It might even take a bigger main, and put the stock needles in the middle setting to start out with.

so i would guess winter time putting the air box lid back on with have to drop a few main jet sizes.
