  4. I am installing new K& N pod filters today. I have saw on here before approximate jetting over the no lid jet setting. I am at 300 mains now with no lid, Which main will be a decent start and air screw setting. 330? or 340? Thanks for the info Tim
  5. got the pipes installed today. started with 300 mains and air screw at 1.5 it was too rich but runs great with lid off airbox. so gonna drop to 290's and try again tomorrow. tahnks for the help guys and wow what a difference with the pipes.

No more than 8. Had intentions of getting the motor built, but forced to sell now for wedding. I have lots of pics just pm me and I can email them to you. 18. with t5's and porting from eric gorr what would be a good baseline jet should I run the toomey needles or get something else. I will be riding all year round in ont canada don't know exact elevation but can check meter at work. thanks
  19. Does the 2:1 toomey filter sit inside the air box under the lid or does the lid have to be removed. Thanks
  20. Has anyone used these k&n powerlids. How do they perform I can't run without my air box lid but was wondering how these would work as an option. Thanks
  21. I have decided to get my porting done first. I am looking at gorr, only because I have not found anything near me in ontario canada. I have some time till racing is over so I am gonna do that first. Will the t'5's still be a good choice or should I look at another pipe. I will be riding all year so it is wet sometimes so no air box is not an option. does the k&n air filter lid work well. any other ideas for quick mods without changing to much of the motor. I run 94 octane with burris racing castor which is what I use in my shifter karts and I run the shee @ 40:1. Do you guys think that is too lean. I have not touched the jetting yet, basically I have only put an 1hr on the bike so far because racing is still to busy till nov. Thanks for the info Tim
  22. I am looking at pipes to start my mods. I am looking at the T5's with all the extras reeds vents ect. or the rocket pipes but they come with no extras. Would it be better to go with the rocket pipes and modify air box myself and get the vforce reeds or the t5's. I will be riding all year round in cold and hot mostly trails but sometimes dunes. any advise would be great. Thanks
