What a great week end! :)

My time on the course that we set up was R2m56s and the closest was the LTZ400 coming in at a much slower 3m08s.

The only complaint I have of the week end was kicking the bike 200 hundred times in the morning to start. banghead I suppose it's because I was running on TTS 24:1 I'm going to try running 40:1 this week end.

Got some pics, will post later.

Hope you guys had a good week end! :)

Your shee is new right? I had the same problem till I started looking through the jetting and exhaust forum. :P Adjust your air screws and idle screws.

Get some pipes on it, dump that crappy stock air filter set up and really make

that LTZ look like a fool. :headbang:

Will definitely have to set it up correctly. Pipes will only come in two months time. I've just started a new job and need to save up first. The guys this side rate pro circuit and fmf as the best.

Any other brands that are maybe cheaper and available in South Africa??:confused:

I've got fmfs and they are way better than stock. I dont know about the pro circuits but have heard good things about them too. I think a lot of guys here run

Toomey T5's and drag pipes. I'm looking into some CPI's or Shearer inframes. I think there is a guy on here, his screen name is namshee and he's from your area. He may chime in and let you know some options.

I think namshee is from Namibia, which is in South West Africa. That's quite a distance though. :( The fmf's and pc's are available here so I'll ten to one go that route!

First I need to get to know her a bit better, before I start tampering. It's actually a good thing I need the cash for other things at the moment!

If shee is brand new, just broke-in, and your still running the original plugs, try installing some new ones. That may make her start a lot easier. Plugs get dirty fast with 24:1 especially durring a engine break-in.

IMO for our dunes etc the T5's are the best pipe. they are however very expensive to buy is South Africia or Namibia as they have to be imported from the states and are subject to the ROE.

On the HQ, i have been advised that the PC have nive mid range power and the T5 are more top end - as such for MX and trail riding wud think the PC are the best way to go. get a used set if you can (very rare), really expensive when buying new.

we also run 40:1 TTS and that is our norm. TTS also the only decent oil available to us. R 84.00 per liter. how does it compare to you guys?

and yes, the bike shud pull better with leaner mix as it is now getting more fuel per measurement burned.

:shootself:

i forgot - i have PC fitted and they rip!! wouldnt go for anything else except T5's. you will be amazed by the increase in power once you have those pipes fitted!! :whoa:

Yes sounds right if new. Mine cost R3300.00 including a dura blue airfilter, new jets - all fitted. Leaves a lot of money to buy two stroke and gas!!! :headbang:

How much is TTS your side?

No i havent done the desert run, but have seen the guys riding here - wish that they would behave as the group of 800 riders came here and screwed everything up, as now the auth are giving the locals shit as well. The desrt run gyus rode in protected areas and screwed the wildlife etc...would be fun to do though - not on a shee - shee is not build for long staights going WOT the whole time.

TTS is the same here. Where did you get all the goods for only R3300.00 :o That's a bargain, if you can get anything like that again PLEASE LET ME KNOW! :o

It's a pity that some guys ruin all the fun for others! banghead

The cops are starting to get real tight assed in Gauteng as well.

Do I just post the pics directly off my pc??

I don't want to piss the administrators off. B)
