As a street racer, I found the show to be very stupid on MANY levels. The host is a dumbass, spotting that much is unbelievable, etc. I watched the first show and that is it. You all might want to check out this thread from Chitown racing (one of the guys from the first show is on the chitown forum).

Yup, I was there for the filming too, it was the biggest POS thing ever. It ruined our whole track day (yes they decieded to film on a test and tune day). They had to film some of the races 5-6 times.

 

NO cars were lost. Most of the guys bought their cars back from eachother for 100$.

 

when we were down there for that show it sucked we spent the whole day and night at the track it was so f**kin cold but all and all it was a fun road trip for the weekend, the best part that they did show was when he said ( OK GUYS LETS MEET AT THE PINK SPOT) but they didnt show us all layin on the ground laughin r ass's off and callin him a f**kin tool, and trust me when i say it we all told him he sucks cock

 

well i know for a fact a guy lost a bike down at the taping in fla. but had agreed b4 hand to buy it back for a fairly reasonable price.

 

 

There you have it. They taped the races 5-6 times. Loser can buy his car back cheap. Basically the whole show is bullshit.

well personally i think the show kinda sucks..heres why..u got a couple morons that wanna race...but when the time comes they start whining and bitchnig about "hes got more motor, and a lighter car, blah blah blah"...thats f**kin stupid...if ur gonna race do it motor against motor and nos against nos...pretty simple..otherwise dont run around talkin about how your shit will outrun so and so's..then get on national tv and act like a whiny pussy after youve looked at the other car and know that ur gonna get killed...those 2 dudes last night were panzy asses that shoulda just raced heads up in the first place..not all this "will you give me 25 car lengths" shit...

Agreed...Plus the Host is a tool. Show has definately got to be staged, I heard that the race between the V-Rod and the other bike was staged. However, the winner did get a new V-rod just not the guys he raced, but then again that is all hear-say.
