hellride96 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 im runnin a 400cc cheetha kit, 35mm kehins, t-6s..... every once in a while say every 10 races my wheeler acts like it gets a dead spot in top of 5th or even sometime 6th gear and boggs. if you let off the gas for a second and get back in to it, its fine. i can go race again and it may or may not happen again. also wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of runnin 2 petcocks, one for each carb???? could my bowls be sucked down that quick???? if it could be electrical, where would i start? thanks for any help Quote

endofitall9 Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 No Cheetahs here either but I had this problem on a project bike I am building, the wiring harness was mangled, it would run perfect 1st-4th but 5th and 6th would bog backfire and cut out. i made a race harness and everything was ay ok, the thing about it is you said it was happening every now and then this problem happened everytime you would ride it. still worht a try though.
