Cotton eyed Joe Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Does anybody know what the two wires that go into the parking brake assembly do? Can I get rid of them? Chris 419671[/snapback] They just piss you off in the long run. They are connected to the TORS, so when you leave your parking brake on and try to take off, it limits the RPM. The parking brake AND that switch are both worthless pieces of shit. Quote
04ShEeLE Posted September 27, 2005 Author Report Posted September 27, 2005 So, I'll get rid of that right now, but I have noticed if I park on a steep hill, the compression on the stock motor does not hold the bike from rolling. Is there any way to keep the bike from rolling down a hill without the parking brake (and without increasing the compression at this time)? Quote

Bypass the wires and the CDI think that the brake is off... Your parking brake will still work, just don't forget when you leave it on!!! How's that ? Quote
